Rite Recap: Solitary Imbolc Rite, 2/2/08

Imbolc came soon after an intense weekend ritual session with my Minoan/BTW teacher, so I performed a low-key ADF celebration for Imbolc on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately that evening we witnessed a scary hit-and-run accident and the write-up of the event got somewhat lost in the mental aftermath, so some of the specifics aren't so clear in my mind now that I turn to write it.

My ritual followed my usual order, focusing on Hestia as hearth-flame, and I spent some time meditating on the slow end of winter and the fertility of the flocks and herds.

The omen has been lost to me; I know I wrote it down for reference when I got a chance to write up the rite, but I can't find it now. If I do, I'll add the runes to this writeup.

I do remember that the omen was positive and I accepted the return flow gratefully.
